Azerbaijan lifts all restrictions on cargo transit to Armenia - Aliyev

BAKU. Oct 21 (Interfax) - Azerbaijan has lifted all restrictions on cargo transit to Armenia, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev said.

"I need to say that Azerbaijan has lifted all restrictions on cargo transit to Armenia [...], and the first such cargo transit was a shipment of Kazakh grain to Armenia," Aliyev said in a statement to the press with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana on Tuesday.

It is also a good indicator of the fact that "peace between Azerbaijan and Armenia is already not only on paper but is also in practice," he said.

Aliyev is paying a state visit to Kazakhstan.
