Putin, Trump emphasis on Ukrainian crisis issues in phone call - Ushakov

MOSCOW. Oct 16 (Interfax) - The phone call between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump made a special emphasis on issues concerning the Ukrainian crisis, the former's aide Yury Ushakov said.

"A special emphasis during the call was made on issues of the Ukrainian crisis. Putin gave detailed assessments of the current situation, stressing Russia's keenness on reaching a peaceful politico-diplomatic solution," Ushakov told journalists on Thursday.
