Russia may increase wheat exports in Oct to 5.1 mln tonnes - Rusagrotrans
MOSCOW. Sept 30 (Interfax) - Wheat exports from Russia may amount to 5.1 million tonnes in October compared to the forecast of 4.73 million tonnes for September, the analytical center of Rusagrotrans told Interfax.
At the same time, the September forecast was raised by 0.4 million tonnes to 4.73 million tonnes, the center said. This is below the five-year average of 5.03 million tonnes.
Approximately 4.35 million tonnes were shipped from September 1 to 29. However, in October 2025, exports may continue to grow to 5.10 million tonnes and for the first time since the start of the season (from July 1) exceed the five-year average for this month of 4.81 million tonnes, the center said.
In total, 11.1 million tonnes of wheat will be shipped from July to September 2025. The main importing countries during this period were Egypt, Turkey, Israel and Kenya.
