Ukraine, Poland sign agreement on BGK's activities in Ukraine
MOSCOW. Sept 26 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Economy, Environment and Agriculture Minister Alexei Sobolev and Polish Finance and Economy Minister Andrzej Domanski have signed an agreement on the operations of Poland's National Development Bank (Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, BGK) in Ukraine, Ukrainian media outlets said.
The Ukrainian Economy, Environment and Agriculture Ministry said that in accordance with the agreement, the BGK is able to operate in Ukraine, in particular, provide financial and technical aid in the form of loans and other financial instruments to the government and public and private institutions and organizations.
The financial instruments include support for the export, grants or guarantees for the implementation of restoration and development projects determined in cooperation between the Ukrainian and Polish governments and the BGK.
