Russian GDP growth slows to 0.4% in July from 1.0% in June, economy expands 1.1% in 7M - Econ Ministry
MOSCOW. Aug 27 (Interfax) - Russian GDP grew an estimated 0.4% year-on-year in July, the Economic Development Ministry said in a report on the current economic situation.
GDP rose 1.0% in June, adjusted from 1.1%. It grew 0.7% in May, adjusted from 0.8%, and 1.5% in April, adjusted from 1.4%. GDP grew 1.1% in March, 0.5% in February and 2.7% in January.
The economy grew an estimated 1.1% year-on-year in January-July, the ministry said.
It said the GDP estimates by month were revised in connection with Rosstat's adjustment of industrial production data for 2024 and the first half of 2025.
