Berlin to provide Ukraine with 9 bln euros annually - German finance minister
MOSCOW. Aug 26 (Interfax) - Germany has pledged to provide Ukraine with 9 billion euros annually over the next few years, German Finance Minister and Vice Chancellor Lars Klingbeil said.
"As finance minister, I made clear - and this was agreed by the federal government - that we will provide Ukraine with 9 billion euros in annual support over the coming years," Ukrainian media quoted Klingbeil as saying at a meeting with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Kiev on Monday.
Klingbeil and Ukrainian Finance Minister Sergei Marchenko also discussed options for continued support to Ukraine, according to media reports.
