VimpelCom's operating revenue up 6.7% to 80.5 bln rubles in Q2, EBITDA grows 8.8%
MOSCOW. Aug 15 (Interfax) - PJSC VimpelCom's operating revenue increased 6.7% year-on-year in Q2 to 80.5 billion rubles, the company said.
Service revenue grew 7.6% to 76.4 billion rubles.
EBITDA for the reporting period amounted to 36 billion rubles, up 8.8% YoY. The EBITDA margin reached 44.7% compared to 43.9% in Q2 2024.
VimpelCom posted net profit of 4.3 billion rubles for the reporting period versus a net loss of 1.1 billion rubles a year earlier.
The net debt/EBITDA ratio stood at 2.48 compared to 2.52 in Q2 2024.
Capital expenditure increased 61.3% to 23 billion rubles.
In the reporting quarter, VimpelCom expanded the number of its base stations 8.7% to 225,100.
