Russia soon to be granted rights to export poultry meat to Malaysia
MOSCOW. Aug 14 (Interfax) - Russia will soon obtain the rights to export poultry meat to the Malaysian market.
"Russia is in the final stage of obtaining the rights to export its poultry products to the Malaysian market," Russian agricultural watchdog Rosselkhoznadzor reported.
At the current stage, Rosselkhoznadzor and Malaysia's Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security have approved a veterinary certificate for the supply of meat and by-products from the slaughter and processing of chicken and turkey from Russia to Malaysia, as well as a protocol of requirements for the produce.
In the near future, specialists from Malaysia will conduct an inspection of the Russian companies interested in supplying their produce to the Malaysian market.
