Witkoff to visit Russia on Aug 6 or 7 - Trump

WASHINGTON. Aug 4 (Interfax) - U.S. Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff will visit Russia on August 6 or 7, U.S. President Donald Trump said.

"I think next week, Wednesday or Thursday, [he] may be going to Russia," the presidential press pool quoted Trump as saying.

Witkoff visited the Middle East last week. As reported, Trump said Witkoff would travel to Russia after that.
