Head of Economics and Transport Development Institute appointed deputy CEO of RZD, previous deputy becomes head of Federal Freight

MOSCOW. Aug 1 (Interfax) - The board of directors of OJSC Russian Railways (RZD) has appointed Irina Magnushevskaya as the company's new deputy managing director and head of its transport services center, the company reported.

She will be responsible for managing the company's commercial activity in freight transportation.

Since 2022, Magnushevskaya has been head of the Economics and Transport Development Institute, controlled by RZD. Prior to this, she acted as first deputy economics and finance manager at Krasnoyarsk Railway and then became the deputy head of the economics department at RZD.

The previous deputy managing director and head of the RZD transport services center was Dmitry Muryev, who has now replaced Andrei Drenichev as CEO of RZD subsidiary Federal Freight.
