Roscosmos CEO says invited NASA head to visit Moscow, Baikonur in Nov
WASHINGTON. Aug 1 (Interfax) - Russia's Roscosmos CEO Dmitry Bakanov has said that he invited Acting NASA Administrator Sean Duffy to visit Moscow and Baikonur in November to watch the joint launch of a Soyuz spacecraft, and Duffy confirmed his readiness to pay this visit.
"We invited Sean to Moscow and Baikonur in November for our joint launch of a Soyuz spacecraft. He confirmed his readiness. We will sent him an official invitation," Bakanov told journalists on Thursday.
Roscosmos said on Thursday that the Roscosmos and NASA heads held the first talks since 2018. They discussed the further operations of the International Space Station, cooperation as part of lunar programs, and outer space exploration.
