Govt appoints Deputy PM Kachka Ukraine's trade representative

MOSCOW. July 30 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has appointed Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Taras Kachka Ukraine's trade representative, Ukrainian media reported, citing the government's representative to the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.

The corresponding decision was made at a government meeting on Wednesday, the media reports said.

The Verkhovna Rada appointed Kachka deputy prime minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration on July 17. Prior to that, he had served as Ukrainian deputy economy minister and trade representative since September 6, 2019.
