Ukraine imposes moratorium on inspections of businesses by supervisory bodies
MOSCOW. July 22 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has signed an executive order enacting the National Security and Defense Council's decision to impose a moratorium on inspections of businesses by law enforcement, customs, tax, and other supervisory bodies, Ukrainian media reported.
The order was published on the official presidential website on Monday, they said.
Zelensky hosted a first meeting of the National Security and Defense Council's new composition on Monday. Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko said the same day that the government was planning to submit bills amending the Criminal Procedure Code and some other regulations to protect businesses and reform the system of supervisory bodies to the Verkhovna Rada.
