Atomflot acting head Antonov confirmed as CEO
MURMANSK. July 22 (Interfax) - Yakov Antonov, who has served as acting CEO of Atomflot since September 2024, was confirmed as CEO of the Russian icebreaker fleet operator on Tuesday, the state company said.
Antonov also served as first deputy CEO and director of shipping at Atomflot, the press release said.
Former Atomflot CEO Leonid Irlits, who had headed the company since 2022, retired in 2024.
Antonov previously worked at the Murmansk Shipping Company and served as CEO of Arkhangelsk-based Northern Shipping Company from 2017.
