Saudi Arabia intends to continue developing trade, economic relations with Russia - industry minister

YEKATERINBURG. July 8 (Interfax) - Saudi Arabia's decision to become a partner country of the Innoprom international industrial exhibition in Yekaterinburg highlights the kingdom's intention to develop trade and economic relations with Russia, Saudi Arabian Industry and Mineral Resources Minister Bandar Alkhorayef said addressing Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin.

While visiting the Innoprom exhibition in Yekaterinburg on Tuesday, Mishustin familiarized himself with Saudi Arabia's display and thanked members of country's delegation for its decision to become a partner of the exhibition.

Alkhorayef said in reply that the decision highlighted Saudi Arabia's intention to continue developing trade and economic relations with Russia in various respects.

The display represented numerous Saudi Arabian organizations interested in drawing investment, he said.

Mishustin said, "Your display is very innovative."
