Kazakhstan sees 0.8% Inflation in June, annual figure 11.8%
ALMATY. July 1 (Interfax) - Inflation in Kazakhstan was 0.8% in June compared with 0.9% in May 2025, the National Statistics Bureau said.
Annual inflation was 11.8% compared with 11.3% a month earlier, and in line with the 11.6%-12.3% forecast by analysts polled by Interfax.
In annual terms food prices rose 10.6% in June and 9.6% in May 2025, non-food prices went up 9.4% and 9%, respectively, and service charges rose 16.1% and 16%.
Pieces rose 96.3% year-on-year for water supply and 34.6% for waste-water disposal, with growth for central heating - 19.2%, gas supply - 15.5%, hot water supply - 15.1%, electricity - 12.5% and housing maintenance - 12.7%.
Pieces rose for fruit and vegetables - 20.7%, oils and fats - 17.9%, nonalcoholic beverages - 11.9% and meat and meat products - 11.3%.
