Moscow's Solergy to invest 1 bln rubles to build solar power plant in Stavropol Territory

PYATIGORSK. June 27 (Interfax) - Moscow's Solergy LLC is planning to build a solar power plant in Neftekumsky District in Stavropol Territory, regional governor Vladimir Vladimirov said.

"The future power plant will have a capacity of 22 MW and construction will cover 19 hectares," Vladimirov wrote on Telegram.

The press service of the Stavropol Territory Energy, Industry and Communications Ministry reported that the company planned to invest around 1 billion rubles in the construction of the plant.

"The investor predicts that the site will be commissioned in 2026," the territory's Industry Minister, Ivan Kovalev, is quoted as saying in the message.

The agreement on the project was signed at the North Caucasus Energy Forum.

Vladimirov said this would be the second solar power plant in Stavropol Territory, the first being Staromaryevskaya in Grachevsk District, which has a capacity of 100 MW and is one of the largest in Russia. This SPP was launched in 2019, with the full ramp-up a year later, and it now supplies over 150 million kilowatt hours of electricity to the country's unified power grid each year.

Solergy LLC was registered in Moscow in 2021, with CEO Ivan Mokryshev as the sole owner.

Solergy says on its website that it produces its own solar panels and designs and builds turnkey power facilities with any capacity. The company offers clients ready-made solutions for grid-connected, hybrid and autonomous solar power plants. For the last 20 years, it has been implementing SPP projects at production sites to generate electricity for sale.
