Kyrgyzstan's state gold miner Kyrgyzaltyn to supply gold bars to Malaysia
BISHKEK. June 25 (Interfax) - Kyrgyzstan's state-owned gold miner Kyrgyzaltyn has signed an agreement with Malaysia's Public Gold Marketing to supply gold bars.
Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov, during his visit to Kuala Lumpur, held a meeting with Malaysian business leaders, following which a number of documents were signed, including a purchase and sale agreement and a memorandum of cooperation between Kyrgyzaltyn and Public Gold Marketing, Japarov's press office said.
In addition, the Kyrgyz Economy and Commerce Ministry's Halal Industry Development Center and the Malaysia's AviaDinamika signed a memorandum to attract investment for the construction of a halal park in Kyrgyzstan.
Japarov said Kyrgyzstan had investment appeal and called on Malaysian businesses to invest in the republic, naming hydropower, the agro-industrial complex, tourism, education, healthcare, digital transformation and mining and processing as priority areas.
