Situation at Iran's Bushehr NPP normal - Rosatom CEO Likhachev
MOSCOW. June 20 (Interfax) - The situation at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant in Iran has not changed for the worse over the past 24 hours and remains normal, Alexei Likhachev, CEO of Russia's Rosatom state atomic energy corporation, said on Friday.
"If we review the developments over the past 24 hours, the situation at Bushehr has not changed for the worse and is normal. Certainly, the people are worried, and those whose children are present at the site are particularly worried," Likhachev said in an interview aired on the Rossiya-24 (VGTRK) television channel.
About 150 people present at the Bushehr NPP site are family members of Russian specialists working there, he said.
