Belarus' Belavia Airlines adds first Airbus A330-200 to fleet
MINSK. June 6 (Interfax) - Belarus' Belavia Airlines has added an Airbus aircraft to its fleet for the first time, the company's press service said.
"The Belavia fleet now has an absolutely new type of aircraft for Belarusian aviation, the Airbus A330-200," the press service said.
The new Airbus allows the company to operate long-haul flights and open new routes, according to the statement. The company has prepared extensively to operate the new type of aircraft.
Belavia is a state-owned airline with headquarters in Minsk. The bulk of flights are carried out from the airport of the Belarusian capital.
