IAEA head arrives in Russia's Kaliningrad

KALININGRAD. June 6 (Interfax) - A plane carrying International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi has landed in Russia's Kaliningrad, according to the online timetable of the Khrabrovo Airport.

German Charter Airways Flight F3 6272 arrived in Kaliningrad from Vienna at 9:41 a.m., the timetable said.

Rosatom head Alexei Likhachev said earlier that Grossi might visit Russia at the end of this week.

Grossi said last Thursday that he would travel to Russia and Ukraine next week for regular contacts with both sides.

According to Likhachev, the meeting will address U.S.-made nuclear fuel at the Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant.

The previous round of the Rosatom-IAEA consultations took place in Moscow on February 7.
