Russia receives Ukrainian list for exchange in '1,000 for 1,000' format - Peskov

MOSCOW. May 22 (Interfax) - The Russian side has received the Ukrainian list for a prisoner swap in the '1,000 for 1,000' format, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told Interfax.

"Yes, indeed, [it] has now been received," he said.

Peskov told Interfax earlier on Thursday Moscow had given Kiev its list of candidates for exchange.

An agreement on a swap in the '1,000 for 1,000 format' was reached during the first direct Russian-Ukrainian talks, which took place in Istanbul last week, held in the past three years.
