No specific agreements on next meetings between Russian, Ukrainian delegations - Peskov
MOSCOW. May 22 (Interfax) - There are no specific agreements concerning a new round of Russian-Ukrainian talks at the moment, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"There are no specific agreements on next meetings for the time being. This has yet to be agreed upon. Work is being done to implement the agreements reached in Istanbul," Peskov told journalists while commenting on Finnish President Alexander Stubb's remark on possible negotiations at a technical level between a Russian and a Ukrainian delegation in the Vatican next week.
The Wall Street Journal reported earlier citing sources that a new round of negotiations between Russia and Ukraine could be held in the Vatican in mid-June. Stubb said technical negotiations between Moscow and Kiev could take place in the Vatican next week.
