Rusagro Group had 97 bln rubles export revenue in 2024 - report

MOSCOW. May 14 (Interfax) - Rusagro Group , one of the leading Russian agricultural holdings, exported products worth 97 billion rubles in 2024, the company said in its annual report.

Exports made up 28% of total revenue.

Most export revenue came from oil and fats at 76 billion rubles, with 12 billion rubles from sugar, 7 billion rubles from meat and 2 billion rubles from the agriculture segment.

Rusagro exported to 36 countries last year, compared with 23 according to the 2023 report.

The group's main trading partners abroad are from Southwest Asia and the CIS.

The Rusagro Group boosted sales revenue to International Financial Reporting Standards 23.2% in 2024 to 340.1 billion rubles. Operating profit decreased to 38.889 billion rubles from 46.753 billion rubles, and net profit for the year to 31.577 billion rubles from 44.763 billion rubles. Adjusted EBITDA fell to 52.99 billion rubles, from 56.33 billion rubles in 2023.

Rusagro Group is one of Russia's leading agro-industrial holdings, holding top positions in the production of sugar, pork, oil and fat products as well as agricultural goods.

In 2024, the group produced 1.114 million tonnes of crude vegetable oil, up 55% compared to 2023. Sugar production in 2024 increased 13% to 1.049 million tonnes. The group produced 311,000 tonnes of pork in live weight for slaughter in 2024, down 7%. It sold 1.02 million tonnes of grain crops, 11% less, 414,000 tonnes of oilseeds, 36% less, and 4.07 million tonnes of sugar beet, 25% less.

The group's land bank is 815,000 hectares. The assets are located in 15 Russian regions.
