Russian President Putin, Malaysian PM Anwar to hold talks in Moscow on May 14 - Kremlin
MOSCOW. May 13 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim will hold talks on Wednesday, May 14 as part of Anwar's official visit to Russia, the Kremlin press service said.
"The parties plan to substantively discuss key aspects of bilateral political, trade and economic cooperation, outline steps to further deepen Russian-Malaysian interaction, and exchange opinions on relevant items of the international and regional agenda," it said.
Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said on Monday that preparations for Russian-Malaysian negotiations were underway. "We attach great significance to them," he said.
