Russia's Agroeco launches pork exports to Vietnam
VORONEZH. April 28 (Interfax) - Agroeco Group, one of Russia's largest pork producers, has shipped its first batch of processed meat products to Vietnam, the company's press service said.
"The company has completed its first shipment to Vietnam - 54 tonnes of processed meat products. Agroeco now exports to nine countries and plans to further expand its geographic reach," it said.
The company exported over 27,700 tonnes of processed meat products and live animals in 2024, up 82% compared to the previous year.
Belarus, Georgia and Armenia remain Agroeco's primary export markets. Last year, the holding also launched shipments to Serbia, India and several African countries.
Agroeco Group ranks as Russia's sixth largest pork producer and seventh largest animal feed manufacturer. The holding comprises 49 pig farms, two breeding centers, four feed mills, a crop farming cluster, transport companies, a dairy farm, a meat processing plant and a retail chain. The total workforce exceeds 9,000 employees across production facilities in the Voronezh and Tula regions.
