Ukraine terminates agreement with Russia on rights of people who worked in Far North areas
MOSCOW. April 18 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government terminated another agreement with Russia at its meeting on Friday, April 18, Ukrainian media reported with reference to government envoy to the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk.
"The effect of the provisional agreement between the Ukrainian and the Russian government done in Moscow on January 15, 1993 concerning guarantees of pension support rights of citizens who have worked in areas of the Far North and areas equated to them has been terminated," Melnichuk said.
