Ukraine asks EU to extend trade liberalization measures
MOSCOW. April 16 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada has requested that the European Union extend the trade liberalization measures for Ukraine, Ukrainian media quoted parliamentarian Yaroslav Zheleznyak as saying on his social account.
The Rada has asked the EU to "extend tariff and quota exemptions for Ukrainian goods," Zheleznyak said.
Ukrainian lawmakers voted at a plenary session on Wednesday in favor of a resolution on the Rada's appeal to the European Parliament, the European Commission, the Council of the EU, and the parliaments and governments of the EU member states.
