Russian govt sets goal in state program to achieve $55.2 bln in agro exports in 2030

MOSCOW. April 7 (Interfax) - The Russian government has set a goal in the state program for agricultural development to reach $55.2 billion in exports in 2030.

Amendments to the state program, as per the resolution signed on April 4, 2025, and posted on the official portal of legal information, envisage the goal.

The figure was previously considered an estimate based on the presidential task set for Russia's agricultural sector to boost growth in exports by 1.5-fold in 2030 compared to 2021.

The previous version of the program set a goal of achieving exports of $47.1 billion in 2030. In the new version, it is formulated as "achieving the volume of exports of agricultural products in nominal prices totaling $55.2 billion by the end of 2030."

As reported, Russia exported agricultural products totaling $42.6 billion in 2024 versus $43.1 billion in 2023.
