Agricultural products account for more than 50% of Ukraine's export - premier
MOSCOW. April 4 (Interfax) - Agricultural export accounts for more than 50% of Ukraine's overall export, this indicator grew by 4.5% compared to March 2024, Ukrainian media outlets said with a reference to Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal's statement made at a meeting of the government on Friday.
Export of Ukrainian goods increased by 13% last year and by 4.5% this March compared to March 2024, Shmygal said.
Additionally, the Made in Ukraine program envisages, in particular, 500 million UAH in compensations for purchases of Ukrainian agricultural equipment, he said. The state would compensate to farmers up to 25% of cost of such equipment, if it was made in Ukraine.
"We will allocate from the budget over 6 billion UAH in total to support the agricultural sector alone this year," Shmygal said.
As reported, Ukraine exported 9.98 million tonnes of goods worth $3.6 billion in March 2025.
