KazTransOil implements service to route transportation of Kazakh oil for export and its tariff
ALMATY. April 4 (Interfax) - KazTransOil (KTO) has set a tariff for organizing the transportation of Kazakh oil through the pipeline systems of Kazakhstan for export at 10 tenge per tonne, excluding VAT, KTO's press service said.
"A new tariff for organizing the transportation of Kazakh oil through the pipeline systems of Kazakhstan for export, namely operator activity for a single routing, has been approved in line with expanding the activities of JSC KazTransOil and the related amendment to the company's charter, as per order of the CEO/Board Chairman of JSC KazTransOil, ," the company said.
There was no such tariff or service previously, KTO's press service told Interfax.
KazTransOil, which is Kazakhstan's national operator of the main oil pipelines and is part of the KazMunayGas group, owns a network of oil pipelines totaling 5,400 km in length.
The official exchange rate as on April 4, 2025, is 501.57 tenge/$1.
