Russia's Energy Strategy to 2050 approved by all, waiting for signature - minister

KAZAN. April 3 (Interfax) - Russia's Energy Strategy to 2050 has been approved by all government agencies and will soon be signed and published, Energy Minister Sergei Tsivilev said.

"The Energy Strategy has been approved by all, confirmed by all. It is in the government and waiting to be signed," Tsivilev told reporters.

He recalled that the government is now holding strategic sessions to discuss the Energy Strategy.

"Yesterday there was a strategic session on oil and coal, and on April 8 [there will be one] on the electricity sector. Everything concludes with this, all discussions," Tsivilev said, confirming that the official publication of the document can be expected after April 8.
