Target for customs revenue transfers to budget in 2025 exceeds 8 trln rubles - Russian Finance Ministry

MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - The target for the Federal Customs Service (FCS) for budget transfers in 2025 is over 8 trillion rubles, exceeding last year's target of over 7 trillion rubles, the Finance Ministry said.

"The target for the FCS for customs and other payments to the federal budget in 2025 is over 8 trillion rubles," the ministry's press service said.

Previously, when speaking at an FCS board meeting, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov called the 2025 target ambitious. "We see that today there is also some basis in terms of the volumes, the physical volumes of imports entering our country. The exchange rate is somewhat stronger than our planned values, and high rates, of course, affect the level of our trade turnover, and accordingly the volume of budget transfers. I am confident that we will meet the planned targets," he said.

The FCS fulfilled 99% of its target for budget transfers in 2024, Siluanov said.

As reported, the FCS transferred 6.623 trillion rubles to the federal budget in 2023 compared to a target of 6.46 trillion rubles, up by 400.7 billion rubles or 6.4% compared to 2022.
