Rosneft discovers 7 fields, 97 hydrocarbon deposits with 200 mln tonnes of oil equivalent in 2024; resource base at 21.5 bln tonnes of oil equivalent

MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - Rosneft discovered seven fields and 97 new hydrocarbon deposits with reserves of 0.2 billion tonnes of oil equivalent (categories AB1C1+B2C2) in 2024, the company said.

As a result, Rosneft's hydrocarbon reserves under the Russian classification at the end of 2024 amounted to 21.5 billion tonnes of oil equivalent (categories AB1C1+B2C2).

Based on the results of an audit of reserves under the international PRMS classification (Petroleum Resources Management System), the company's hydrocarbon reserves under the 2P category amounted to 11.4 billion tonnes of oil equivalent. "The replenishment of production with 2P reserve additions exceeds 100%," the company said.
