Ukraine reports 2.6-magnitude quake in its Ternopol region

MOSCOW. March 7 (Interfax) - An earthquake measuring 2.6 points on the Richter scale was recorded in Ukraine's Ternopol region at 6:27 p.m. on March 6, Ukrainian media outlets said on Friday, citing the Main Center of Special Control as saying in a statement on social media.

Quakes of a magnitude like this one can be registered only by seismic instruments, the center said.
