Number of Russian companies supplying dairy products to China rises to 61 - Rosselkhoznadzor
MOSCOW. March 7 (Interfax) - The number of Russian companies permitted to supply dairy products to the Chinese market has risen to 61, Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) said.
China's General Administration of Customs (GAC) has decided to allow Russia's Severnoye Moloko [Northern Milk] from the Vologda Region to supply its dairy products to the Chinese market.
GAC has also permitted five enterprises and vessels that produce and transport fish from the Kamchatka, Primorsk, and Khabarovsk territories and the Murmansk Region to export their products to China, thus increasing the number of Russian suppliers to 918.
Rosselkhoznadzor said that the new exporters have been registered through the China Import Food Enterprise Registration (CIFER) information system.
