Ukraine has UAH 126 bln on treasury account, $40.3 bln in forex reserves - Kiev
MOSCOW. March 4 (Interfax) - Ukraine has over UAH 126 billion on its treasury account as of March 3, as well as $40.3 billion in forex reserves, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.
"On the treasury account and, among other things, there are foreign currency funds. The budget performance for the first two months brought more than UAH 2 billion, that is, we are filling our budget for January and February, while the customs and tax services have also met the target," he was quoted by Ukrainian media as saying at a press briefing in Kiev on Tuesday.
Shmygal said he reported this data on the sufficiency of financial resources and the possibility of funding the state budget deficit for $38 billion in 2025 at the supreme commander-in-chief's headquarters.
