Logistics companies from Belarus, Russia, Pakistan sign memorandum of understanding
MINSK. Feb 26 (Interfax) - Logistics companies from Belarus, Russia and Pakistan signed a memorandum of understanding in Minsk on Tuesday, the press service of Belarus' Transport Ministry said.
"Developing logistics with Pakistan was discussed in Minsk today. Belarus' Transport and Communications Minister Alexei Lyakhnovich, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Belarus Mohammed Aejaz, and the directors of logistics companies of the three countries attended the talks," the press service said.
Belarus' Beltamozhservice national logistics operator, Pakistan's Pak Shaheen logistics corporation, and Russia's Neko Line Asia container shipping operator signed the trilateral memorandum of understanding.
"New transport routes and a balanced volume of goods supplies between Belarus and Pakistan will allow us to achieve optimal logistics costs and increase trade turnover between the countries," Lyakhnovich said in the press release.
