Maxim Markovich appointed deputy agriculture minister of Russia
MOSCOW. Feb 10 (Interfax) - Maxim Markovich, the director of international cooperation and development of agricultural exports at Russia's Agriculture Ministry, has been promoted to the position of deputy minister, according to a government order signed on February 6 and posted on the official website for legal information.
Markovich joined the Agriculture Ministry in 2015, prior to which he served in the expert departments of the Kremlin administration, the Energy Ministry and the Federal Tariff Service, which was abolished in 2015.
Markovich, who was born in 1985, graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations in 2007 and holds the rank of third class active state councillor of the Russian Federation.
