Kiev expecting to receive $3.3-bln humanitarian aid from UN

MOSCOW. Jan 17 (Interfax) - The United Nations will provide $3.3-billion humanitarian aid to Ukraine this year, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said after meeting with a UN delegation.

"We appreciate any support and are particularly grateful for the decision to provide $3.3-billion humanitarian aid this year," Ukrainian media cited Zelensky's post on a social network.

He said he had met with a UN delegation led by Emergency Relief Coordinator Tom Fletcher and UN High Commissioner for Refugees Filippo Grandi.

The UN officials visited Kiev, southern Ukraine, and the Dnepropetrovsk, Sumy and Kharkov regions, Zelensky said.
