Kazakhstan intends to compensate for overproducing oil under OPEC+ deal until mid-2026

ASTANA. Jan 15 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan has postponed the deadline for compensating for overproducing oil under the OPEC+ deal until the end of June 2026, the country's Energy Ministry told Interfax.

"The compensation period for overproduced volumes has been extended to the end of June 2026," the Energy Ministry said in response to a question about whether the deadline for overproducing oil in 2024 under the OPEC+ deal had been maintained.
