KPMG Audit to check Naftogaz financial statements for 2024-2026

MOSCOW. Dec 25 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has tasked KPMG Audit with conducting mandatory audit of Naftogaz of Ukraine's financial statements for 2024, 2025 and 2026.

The respective government resolution was adopted on December 24, 2024, Ukrainian media said.

The same document amended the government resolution of July 25, 2023, which appointed a subsidiary of the PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) international company, LLC Audit Firm PricewaterhouseCoopers (Audit), as the auditor of Naftogaz financial statements for 2023-2024. The amendments say this company's audit of Naftogaz is limited to the year 2023.
