Ukrainian president signs into law bill on 2025 state budget

MOSCOW. Nov 28 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has signed into law a bill on the 2025 state budget, Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said on Thursday.

"The protection of the state remains a priority of the budget. We are allocating UAH 2.23 trillion for this," Ukrainian media quoted Shmygal as saying on social media.

Additionally, UAH 420.9 billion is earmarked for social protection, UAH 217 billion for healthcare, and UAH 199 billion for education.

"In total, next year's expenditures are planned at UAH 3.6 trillion, while revenues at UAH 2.05 trillion. There is a well-coordinated approach of various branches of power and strong support of our partners," Shmygal said.
