Russia ensures expanded replacement of gas reserves ahead of schedule in 2024

MOSCOW. Nov 28 (Interfax) - The increase in recoverable gas reserves totaled 788.5 billion cubic meters for all categories in the first 10 months of 2024, Russia's Natural Resources Ministry told Interfax.

The macro forecast indicates that Russia could potentially produce 669 bcm of gas in 2024, thus the increase in the country's gas reserves has already exceeded the expected annual output of gas in the first 10 months of the year.

Russia produced 680 bcm of gas in the last 12 reporting months from October 2023 to September 2024.
