Kazakhstan fulfills commitments under OPEC+ deal in October - Energy Ministry
ASTANA. Nov 22 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan fulfilled the commitments under the OPEC+ deal in October, the country's Energy Ministry told Interfax.
"Kazakhstan fulfilled its commitments under the OPEC+ deal in October," the ministry said.
S&P Global Commodity Insights, citing Platts data, in an overview said that Kazakhstan produced 1.22 million barrels of oil per day in October 2024. Kazakhstan had an oil production quota of 1.203 million bpd under the OPEC+ deal in October, meaning that the country exceeded the quota by 17,000 bpd in the month, according to S&P Global Commodity Insights.
Kazakhstan lagged the OPEC+ quota by 10,000 bpd in September this year, having produced 1.54 million bpd instead of the authorized 1.55 million bpd.
