SIBUR nearly doubles RAS profit to 166 bln rubles in 9M

MOSCOW. Nov 5 (Interfax) - SIBUR Holding increased its net profit to Russian Accounting Standards by 90% to 165.99 billion rubles in the first nine months of 2024 from 85.92 billion rubles a year earlier, the petrochemical group reported in its financial statement.

Revenue grew by 20% to 894.7 billion rubles, while costs rose 25.6% to 622.54 billion rubles. Gross profit increased by 9% to 272.16 billion rubles.

Operating profit grew by 9.8% to 208.11 billion rubles, and pretax profit jumped 90% to 197.56 billion rubles.

SIBUR's principal shareholders, according to the latest disclosure, are Leonid Mikhelson with 31%, Gennady Timchenko with 14.45%, China's Sinopec and Silk Road Fund with 8.5% each, Sogaz with 10.625%, current and former Sibur executives with 12.325% and TAIF shareholders with 15%.
