Ukrainian Verkhovna Rada extends martial law, general mobilization by 90 days

MOSCOW. Oct 29 (Interfax) - The Verkhovna Rada on Tuesday endorsed Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky's decrees on extending martial law and general mobilization by another 90 days starting November 10, Ukrainian media reported with reference to parliamentarian Yaroslav Zheleznyak's social media post.

Martial law has been in effect in Ukraine since February 24, 2022. The decree on declaring general mobilization was signed the next day, on February 25, 2022. Since then, the decrees have been regularly extended, each time for 90 days.
