Germany to provide 900,000 euros for spring 2025 sowing in Ukraine
MOSCOW. Oct 3 (Interfax) - The German Agriculture Ministry will provide 900,000 euros as vouchers for households in a number of Ukrainian regions, Ukrainian media said, citing Agrarian Policy and Food Minister Vitaly Koval as saying after his trip to Germany.
According to the minister, 1,625 rural households in the Odessa and Kiev-controlled part of the Kherson region can exchange the vouchers for seeds and agricultural materials for spring sowing.
In turn, German Agriculture Minister Cem Ozdemir said that agriculture was the core of Ukraine's economy. He pledged Germany's further support for Ukraine so that it could export products and make an income.
