Ashgabat sees its dialogue with Berlin as significant - Turkmen president

ASHGABAT. Oct 3 (Interfax) - Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov has congratulated Germany's President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Chancellor Olaf Scholz on German Unity Day, the Turkmenistan State News Agency said on Thursday.

"We attach great importance to the friendly dialogue between Turkmenistan and the Federal Republic of Germany, which has consistently been strengthening and expanding," Berdimuhamedov said in his message.

Ways to advance political, diplomatic, trade, economic, social, etc. relations between Turkmenistan and Germany were discussed on the sidelines of the Central Asia-Germany meeting in Kazakhstan on September 17, he said, expressing confidence that these ties will continue to develop and strengthen in the interests of both peoples, the news agency said.
