T Plus transfers fully to Gazprom gas as of 2024
MOSCOW. Sept 27 (Interfax) - PJSC T Plus has fully transferred to gas supplies from Gazprom as of 2024, having previously received up to half of its fuel from independent producers, the power generating company said.
"Gazprom is the sole fuel supplier for the generating company as of this year," T Plus CEO Alexander Vilesov said on the sidelines of the Russian Energy Week forum.
"I would say that there is no offer from independents on the market," Vilesov said regarding the circumstances for changing the composition of suppliers.
It was reported previously that Gazprom Mezhregiongaz CEO Sergei Gustov met with Vilesov, when the parties "discussed concluding a contract to supply natural gas in full up to 23 billion cubic meters at a regulated price for the next contractual period."
Vilesov said that a new annual contract was under discussion. "This is a completely routine story. There will most likely not be any sensations," he said.
Natural gas is the main type of fuel at 98.8% in the balance at T Plus' stations. Coal, peat, and fuel oil each occupies a small share in the structure of fuel consumption among the other types of fuel used.
T Plus used 23.283 bcm of natural gas in 2023.
